This is an old rant from the original White Raven Network Archives (circa 2003-2004). In rereading it, I saw quite a number of things that have changed since then, but I like it enough to, a. repost it, and b. leave it unedited.

While I was working away on the web site last night I rediscovered an omnipresent emotion that I had ignored for almost a month now:I hate Microsoft®!Now, those of you who know me well can vouch that I don’t easily hold a grudge, but the Microsoft Corporation never ceases to irritate me, and so I refuse to lift my malice t’ward it. Every time I try to give Microsoft another chance, it makes me regret that I am a forgiving man. Let’s begin with last night’s incident that rekindled my anger… (more…)
