From this term’s PDEng 225 final cumulative assignment marking rubric, under the description for a ‘strong’ response:

Explanations include more than one pieces of evidence to support perspectives

I’d have to give that explanation a grade of ‘weak/incomplete’, but then again, it’s never been the PDEng custom to reward good writing.

So, my marker for PDEng 225, Module 4 reenforced my absolute adoration of PDEng.

Unfortunately, I’m inclined not to share a direct quote from the submission in question here because it discusses people from my previous workterm, and, it being a small team, assumptions could be made without names being named. Instead, below is the instructions for the section on which my marker commented, followed by a summary of the type of content that was in my submission. The module was on “people situations”. Preamble

For those of you who don’t attend UW, PDEng stands for Professional Development for Engineers. UW Engineering coop students are forced to take PDEng online during their coop work terms. The program is supposed to teach us about professionalism, but it sucks, and here’s why. (more…)

What you see above is the worst thought to ever pass through a marketer’s head. Glade® PlugIns®, which waste electricity while serving the purpose of potpourri, now come with a neon light show that serves absolutely not purpose. My best guess for this one is that the neon lights are supposed to be “soothing colours”. I would normally properly link a product that I blog about, but for your sake, I hope this is the last time you set your sight on this waste of perfectly good materials.
